Do you like an ice cold glass of lemonade? This guide will show you how to make it yourself.

Difficulty level: Beginners

Instructions:

Materials:
5 or more lemons depending on their size
1 cup sugar
Water
Lemon juicer

Pour 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar into a pot.

Heat it over a high flame only until the sugar has dissolved completely.
It should take only a minute or so.
Put the syrup aside to cool.

Cut a lemon in half

Press and rotate the cut end of the lemon on the juicer.

Repeat until you have one cup of lemon juice.

Stir the lemon juice into the cooled sugar syrup.

If you like your lemonade very tart mix in 4 cups of water and taste it. Add 1 cup more at a time until you get the tartness you like.

Put the lemonade in the refrigerator and serve it cold.

Some people like to add a few sprigs of mint to the lemonade before serving.
If you want to add ice cubes, freeze some of the lemonade instead of water so they will not dilute it when they melt.
